Dance Magic Dance Principal and Artistic Director
Miss Amy began her dancing journey at the age of 4 years, in a small seaside town in Lancashire. After much success during childhood, participating in national competitions and performing in many regional theatre productions she was accepted to continue training at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts in Hertfordshire, until moving to London at the tender age of sixteen to train at Millennium Performing Arts, where she won awards for choreographic works and contemporary dance.
After graduating and performing in various large scale and prestigious productions, Amy discovered her true passion was for teaching and found teaching children particularly rewarding. After years of teaching for other well established dance schools, she decided to branch out and founded Dance Magic Dance in January 2015, aiming to build a school that nurtures creativity, instills a love of dance, builds self-esteem in its students and empowers them to reach their highest potential.
Miss Amy is a strong advocate for Body Positivity and diversity in the dance industry, and hopes that more dancers and especially teachers will also embrace this holistic and compassionate style of teaching that will bring forth a generation of diverse, well-rounded, happy, and driven dancers.

Miss Jo is an experienced dancer who trained at Millennium Performing Arts where she won the award for choreography. Since graduating, she has performed all over the world as a dancer and singer, including working on musicals such as Chicago, Monty Python and most recently Elf The Musical, back here in the West End.
During her time performing Jo caught the bug for teaching. In her capacity as dance captain she taught many public dance workshops for the productions she worked on, engaging with people of all ages and abilities and fell in love with the chance to encourage others to enjoy themselves through dance, as well as passing on technical skills.
She is so excited to be joining Dance Magic Dance and be part of the team that brings accessible and fun classes to life!

Ms Corrina is Miss Amy's older sister and whilst she did some dance classes when she was young her interests were decidedly more scientific based. Following A levels she went to train as a nurse in Manchester. She has worked as a nurse in an acute setting for the past 22 years all over the north west and Ireland. She still continues to have a huge interest in all things science and in 2006 completed a degree in Forensic Science. She is proud mum to a boy and a girl who both conspire on a regular basis to keep her on her tippy toes!!
Through the years she has watched her younger sister become an accomplished dancer and fantastic teacher she is really proud to join the Dance Magic Dance team as part-time administration assistant as she believes wholeheartedly with the schools ethos and mission.
Ms Corrina believes that any act of kindness however small is never wasted, she is also a strong believer in equality and feels that learning of any kind should be freely available to all regardless of background.
